  Juan Schiavo born in Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Enthusiastic of photography from very young age. Self-taught person, is interested in art history and photography. He begins his research of an own language exploring the color.

From 1981, year in which he moved to Milan, his photographic activity becomes constant, using reversal film. In 1988 he moved to Bergamo, Italy.
In 1994 he realizes the first exhibit in Argentina, in the Uniòn y Estrella Italian Society of Lomas de Zamora.
In 1995 a calendar with images of “Windows” is published in Bergamo and he exposes “Ethics & Aesthetic". In the same year takes part in the “V° Plastic Arts Hall” of Lomas de Zamora like special guest in color section, and in “V° International Plastic Arts Hall” of Ville de Dreux, Paris.
In 1996, he exposes “Signs of Patagonia” in Brescia, and in 2000 in the Caffè Letterario, Bergamo.
In 2000 he presents "Magical Carnival of Bergamo and Venice" in the gallery of the Motivarte Photograph School in Buenos Aires.
In March 2001 it is exposed again, in the Cultural Center of the Faculty of Social Sciences - University of Buenos Aires.
In May 2001 exposes "Trees” in the Caffè Letterario.
He exhibits “Magical Carnival”, in the Recoleta Cultural Center, Buenos Aires, in September 2002.
In January 2003 participates in the “1st photographic show partners Fiaf of Bergamo”.
In April 2003, exposes again “Trees" in the Cultural Center of Gorle, Bergamo.
In July 2003 exposes "Magical Carnaval" in Caldas de Reis, Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain.
In February 2004 presents the reportage “The walls say” in the exhibition hall of the Officina Fotografica, Milan.

The photography is converted in the more apt means to his personality of careful observer, he allows and he to express at the level of sensibility, the ethical-aesthetic relationship with the life, where this is the true subject of his images. The photographic subjects that he faces are: landscape, people, still-life, as detailed aspects of the relation with nature, humanity and culture.

From June 2004 and during 2005 he lives in Madrid, experimenting, passing from use of reversal film to the digital photography and participating in various seminaries:
In July 2004, Course of Reportage in Cover Agency, Madrid.
In October 2004, “IV Seminary of Photography and Journalism”, Santa Marìa de Albarracìn Foundation, Albarracin, Teruel, Spain.
From November 2004 to May 2005, “Photojournalism and graphical edition”, in the Francisco de Vitoria University, Madrid.
In January 2005, Seminary “Crossroad. On the Art and the Photograph“, in the Casa Encendida Cultural Center, Madrid.
In May 2005, Workshop “The photograph as life form“, Cobertura Photo Agency, Seville.
Still in May 2005, reportage exhibition “Iberic impressions” in the auditorium of Francisco de Vitoria University, Madrid.
Pausing in the events of the life of common people, attracted mostly by the positive aspects.

From 2006 he lives in Ponte San Pietro, Bergamo, continuing his photographic activity with new projects and renewed enthusiasm.
